Monarch Male in the Field

While working in the field a couple of days ago, I was blessed with a visit from a handsome, large monarch male.

It was a little breezy that morning, before the winds blew harder.

The monarch enjoyed sunning himself on the leaf of one of the Island mallow seedlings.
