Native blossoms in the garden


The lovely Gilia tricolor“Bird's Eyes” popped up in the garden again this spring.

However, because we didn't have much rain in the winter and early spring, there weren't as many that reseeded as in the previous two years.

They always are so lovely, as they flutter in the breeze.

I may have posted this image of our Woolly Blue Curls plant, in a post last month.

But the blossom spires on this plant are a wonder to behold, since the plant went nearly completely dormant after it bloomed last year.
