Hover fly approaching Heuchera Maxima blossoms


The California native Heuchera maxima“Alum Root” blossoms are so lovely and delicate in shades of cream and soft pink, growing on tall spikes.

They attract bees and hummingbirds, producing pollen that they release in the air.

You can't see how cute these fuzzy blossoms are until their images are blown up in a photo.
