Cedar waxwings visiting again

Here are the cedar waxwings in the redwood tree again.

I first hear their high pitched trills from a distance, as the whole flock was in a tree further up the street.

And suddenly they all flew high up into the redwood tree next door.

Isn't it interesting how almost all of the cedar waxwings in the photo are looking to their left...

And these are part of the reason why the cedar waxwings visit every Spring, ivy berries.

As soon as they are ripe, the ivy berries are gobbled up by the waxwings and American robins, who also keep the redwood tree as their main base in the mornings and evenings.
