Lavender Feathers poppy leaves

Good grief! Have you ever seen such huge leaves on a poppy plant?

Abut a month ago I bought two Lavender Feathers seedlings from Annies Annuals https://www.anniesannuals.com/

and planted them in a medium sized planter on the patio.

I would have loved to plant these in one of the plant beds, but the beds don't get a lot of sun.

These plants are said to grow to 3 feet in height, and the blossoms should be 5" in diameter.

I just didn't expect the leaves to be so huge!

Some of them are at least 12" long!

This is going to be interesting...
