Fava beans!

This is the second year that I planted fava beans.

Last year I had two decent harvests from four plants.

So far they are growing well in a large pot, in spite of being munched on by some critter when the stalks were still small and closer to the soil (see the big chewed out leaf to upper left).

I think the black and white blossoms are oh, so lovely.
