Meanwhile in the backyard

There is a lot of transplanting and other plant organizing to do in the backyard.

In the meantime, I just love to poke around there seeing how all of the container plants are adapting to this micro-climate.

In the image above is a ladybug coccinella on a leaf of the Hummingbird salvia plant.

It's so great to see these insects around because I know they are voracious predators of the dreaded aphids.
