'tis the season

We're still living in some chaos since we moved to this house a couple of weeks ago. Still a lot to unpack and organize. And what a time of year to move! Right during the holiday season, when there is always so much going on.

But I guess there never is the ideal time to move, and there is only so much you can control.

Fortunately one of my good friends reminded me that it's time to make our Christmas wreaths.

And so I was "forced" to stop unpacking and do something creative again.

Now the house is starting to feel more like a home with the wreath hanging over the fireplace.

It gave us so much incentive to clear this part of the living room, so there is at least one area that has a nice and calm atmosphere.
