hmm...a grasshopper on a rose

After getting a lot of rain, everything in the garden is looking lush again.

Checking on the garden I suddenly came upon a large grasshopper standing right on top of a blossom on the Lilian Austin rosebush.

What a contrast of colors!

As I wrote in the previous post, we are in the process of moving, and I don't have much time to post much for the next week.

We are moving 30 potted plants from the current backyard to the new garden!

As you can imagine, this is no small feat.
