I was surprised to see such presence of birds in the garden in the rainy weather.
Usually they are hunkering down in the trees, but if the rain is gentle enough, there they are, in the bird bath!
Above is a California towhee checking out the bird bath after a Bewick's wren took a dip in the water.
As the wren was sitting in the bath the towhee landed on a branch nearby.
The wren got the message and made its exit.
