rain!

Aah, we had our first rainstorms this weekend.

It was wonderful because although the rain was steady it was not pouring down too hard.

We're hoping that this means we'll having more water this winter.

Of course I was out in the garden checking out the plants.

Above is an image of raindrops on a spiderweb spun over a blueberry plant.

The lemon tree has fully recovered from white fly.

And the trick was to weekly shoot water in a jet spray from the hose aiming upward from under the tree so that all the leaves got wet.

The lambs ears got such a good dousing that they look like matted fur.
