Bumble bee sighting in the backyard

I was so excited to see this bumble bee in our backyard.

While checking one of the bird baths, I heard a buzzing sound near me.

I turned my head and noticed this cute little bumble bee feeding on the nectar of the blossom of the flowering potato vine.

As you see, the bumble bee's lighter stripes are much paler yellow compared to the bumble bees I've observed in the ceanothus shrub. Bumble bees can also have gray or red stripes!

Look at its antennae on the sides of its head.
