More about our visiting bumble bees

Every morning on my way to work, and then when I return home, I check the ceanothus shrub for bees. There are always at least a few honey bees on the shrub in the early morning. And ever since the blossoms are in full bloom there are also two bumble bees.

They are there in the early morning, and throughout the day. And, to my surprise, they are busy buzzing around the ceanothus in the early evening just after sunset.

It would be great to see more bumble bees around the garden, but I'm just so happy to see these two. At least, I assume they are the same bees.
