Honey bee moving pollen to its baskets

On Sunday, while standing in the garden, I noticed a honey bee land on a leaf of the tree lavaterra. I noticed that it had some pollen on its legs and sides of its abdomen.

And sure enough, the bee was in the process of transferring pollen to its baskets.

Look at all that pollen on the honey bee!

And some of the pollen rubbed off on to the leaf.

The whole process took about 5 minutes.
