Ray Hartman Ceanothus gearing up for its big show soon

Our huge ceanothus shrub is developing tiny flower heads that will be in full bloom in one or two months.

Once the shrub is in full bloom, it will be covered with bees every day until they have gathered all the pollen from the blossoms. Last year I counted 40 bees on the shrub within a 2 minute time period!
