The Munstead lavender plant

Here is our first bud on the Munstead lavender plant we bought last year. It looks so nice and fresh, on the verge of opening up to provide food for bees and sometimes hummingbirds. For a long time this lavender plant didn't look like it would thrive.

But here again, patience was needed. We just kept watering it a few times a week with grey water, and sometimes feed it with seaweed extract.

The Munstead lavender plant now......

And what it looked like just a few months ago..... It had barely grown since I planted it last year in September.
