Pea Sprouts with Black Bean and Garlic Sauce

This is super easy so this isn't really a recipe. But sometimes you just want to have a

tasty side dish that takes a couple of minutes to prepare.

You just need:

1/2 pound of rinsed, fresh organic pea sprouts (available at farmers markets or better stocked grocery stores)

2 tablespoons of canola or grapeseed oil

1 tablespoon of store bought black bean and garlic sauce (comes in a small jar and available at most grocery stores and Asian markets)

Heat the canola or grapeseed oil in a medium sized pan over medium to high heat. When the oil is heated add in the rinsed, drained pea sprouts. Saute the pea sprouts in the pan while stirring quickly for a couple of minutes. You'll see that the pea sprouts shrink in volume as they wilt in the heated oil. Add the tablespoon of black bean and garlic sauce and stir to coat the pea sprouts evenly for another minute.

And they are ready to serve!
