It's apricot season! And right now Frog Hollow Farm is selling these delicious organic Apache apricots at Bay Area farmers markets or you can order directly from their farm in Brentwood, California http://www.froghollow.com/

Yes, they aren't cheap at $4.90 a pound. BUT they are very sweet and delicious, and the texture perfect, just the way apricots should be.

We bought these apricots yesterday at the Berkeley Farmers Market. Just one sample, and we were sold! Apricot season is a short one so buy them while you can.

Now if organic cherries were available, I could make an apricot cherry tart.......
