Rain at last!
Ah, we finally had some substantial rainfall overnight and through the morning hours! Okay so it wasn't a lot, but according to meteorologists 1 inch of rain recorded in some areas around the Bay. I was so happy I put on my raincoat and stood in our backyard to listen to the soft rain drops and inhale the fragrance of wet vegetation around me. Yes, it sounds weird, but any rainfall is a big deal to us California folk going through a fourth year of drought.
